London Fall/Winter 2026 – Simone Rocha

Softness on hold

At Simone Rocha, fragility did not dissolve.

This season, it felt heavier. Not visually, but in the way it stayed, how the garments held their shape, how nothing seemed to drift away completely.

The collection moved through lace, tulle, and pearl detailing, familiar codes within her vocabulary, yet nothing felt decorative.

Delicacy was not softness but resistance.

Framework ornament

Pearls weren’t scattered across the surface; they sat within it. Tulle didn’t drift away from the body; It gathered, layered, stayed and lace did not reveal as much as you might expect.; it softened things, blurred them, sometimes even held them back.

What might once have read as embellishment now functioned as a structural point. Surfaces thickened the silhouette. Sheer fabrics were interrupted, reinforced, doubled. Nothing was left to float on its own.

Ornament became load-bearing.

The body was neither exposed nor hidden. It was held within layers. Fabric upon fabric, texture upon texture.

Volume with Gravity

Volume never felt loose.

Sleeves expanded before narrowing sharply at the wrist. Skirts gathered densely at the hip, creating a subtle imbalance. Black dominated, absorbing light and compressing shape.

Black absorbed most of the light, letting details appear slowly. When color appeared, a bright red, a restrained blue or a shiny green, it didn’t brighten the mood. It deepened it.

There was grounded romance and reinforced vulnerability. Nothing collapsed under its own delicacy.

The Weight of Softness

Simone Rocha has long negotiated the space between innocence and severity. This season, that negotiation settled into gravity.

Fragility, here, didn’t disappear, but it changed. It felt considered, held in place, almost protected by the way the garments were built.

In a week shaped by clarity and control, Rocha brought something more internal. A tension that isn’t immediate. Something you register slowly.

Softness, here, wasn’t just a feeling, it wasconstructed and carefully kept.
